These earrings display a pair of real African Honey Badger claws. (Mellivora capensis) Honey badgers are also known as ratels and also known as crazy badasses who don't give a sh*t.

These hindpaw claws were salvaged from a honey badger that had died of unknown natural causes in Tanzania, Africa.

The claws have been professionally cleaned and polished with the first knuckle bone still attached. Very good color with the claws being quite fresh and the preserved quick still inside them. The knuckle bone has been drilled and dipped in glossy black enamel. The claws are wrapped in 14k gold filled wire and have been given a light glossy sealant to both protect and bring out the natural color. Accenting the claws is a little 14k gold (electroplate) beading and real blackstone chips; the claws have also been dotted with black and metallic gold enamel to compliment the beading. The claws measure 1 1/2 inches with the earrings measuring about 2 1/8 inches total.

The earrings are nickel free and use closing clips. Pierced ears required.
