Here we have a Nebraska red fox tail that was a salvage from a fresh hawk kill (not harvested in a hunt...well, not by humans anyway, heh.) The tail was undamaged so I was able to de-bone and tan it without issue. It has been enhanced with a long golden pheasant feather, a handmade (if very simple) willow twig dreamcatcher, and beading done with speckled turquoise chips and tigers' eye stones. A single fox tooth from the same fox tips the bead strand. A tiny bead of turquoise is threaded onto the tip of the pheasant feather. Yes, I made the dreamcatcher too.
