Now here's something for the standout crowd. ;) These earrings display a pair of large 100% real North American Bobcat claws (Lynx rufus) that were salvaged from a wild cat that had died of unknown natural causes in Big Bear, Ca. The claws have been professionally cleaned, then glossed with black enamel and dotted with metallic gold. Complimenting the claws are 14k gold beads (electroplated) and real snowflake obsidian beads as well as a pair of lightly trimmed Amherst pheasant feathers. The feather spines are lightly dotted with tiny spots of gold paint to accent them. The earrings have nickel-free gold plate closing clips (pierced lobes required.) The earrings are hand-wired with 14k gold filled wire and they measure almost 3 inches (not counting the earring attachment.)
