Rodurimer: Dios De la Maseta

TheShaggyDragon

Hey folks! Just made an account, wanna see if I like Weasyl, I might like! Might not? Who knows?

but I wanted to upload some of my more major works on the Dragonscape Project here to start off with! These are all gonna be major background drawings and i dont do these too often but i figured its the best way to kick it off!
Now on to this drawing.

This is the first Balar I have drawn, these demigods are scattered across the Americas after the magical pulse that dragon'd everything up. This dragon goes by several names

1) Dios de la Meseta, God of the Plateau

2) Rodurimer, Spine of the Raddir, this is the name the Balar declares for itself so it is probably their actual name

3) Big boy Roger... it makes the big PLATEAU SIZED dragon mad.. dont call it Big Boy Roger

I'll call it Rodurimer since it would want to be called that

Rodurimer has laid claim to the North American Deserts

Rodurimer is something more like a construct, owning a body but has a neck and head constructed mostly of sheets of sedimentary rock, still had those ears though!
Rodurimer is capable of controlling the sand, stone, and heat around it as well as conjure it's own sand, stone and heat. In addition, Rodurimer can use these abilities to cause powerful earthquakes, give rise to mountains and canyons. And summon sandstorms powerful enough to grind things into dust. In other words, you will get crushed, and then ground into dust if you try to mess with Rodurimer, but it's a demigod that doesnt exactly follow the known laws of physics.

Rodurimer strongly prefers being left alone to ponder, the last large group of Dreki who attempted to talk to/worship Rodurimer wound up being ground into the desert floor, so most people stay a few dozen miles away from the dragon. however while Rodurimer will kill any large groups, Rodurimer doesn't mind talking to lone travelers.

Rodurimer is described as a Stoic individual, not an emotional type. Rodurimer would rather keep conversations short and to the point. If you have a question for the Balar then you'd best ask it directly and quickly. You do NOT want to make this fella annoyed.

anywho im rambling at this point

Shaggy out!
