A 1951 Pontiac Chieftain sporting a lowered rear suspension

My dad referred to it as a "New York Rake". That's the opposite of a "California Rake", which is a lowered front suspension. Riding in this car would make you think you're going uphill all the time, and it would also waste gasoline because the airflow underneath the car would lift it off the ground and make it lose traction.
