Delmar had been sleeping on the deck of her adoptive parents' houseboat Stingray during the night. Even though she can survive out of the water for only a few hours, the ocean breeze had been keeping her skin nice and moist. Now it's morning as she has a light breakfast before changing into one of her swimsuits and going for her daily swim. But just as she steps onto the diving platform and down the ladder into the ocean...What is this? REAL MERPEOPLE?! It's toddler mer-people Urchin and Rainbow, curiously checking out the strange human craft...and now even more curious about the strange human emerging from the craft. A human that can breathe underwater like a MERPERSON?!! Delmar had to explain to the mer-toddlers that she's part mermaid herself. She doesn't remember much about her birth parents, except that they were one human and one merperson. The two little mer-toddlers become fascinated by the teen girl's ability to move around gracefully and stay underwater a long time. The three of them become fast friends, and soon set out to spend the day exploring and playing under the ocean.
