It all started when Tron, Roger Rabbit, Lilo Pelekai from Lilo & Stitch, and Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-it Ralph were walking along a city street when they come upon a seemingly ordinary Volkswagen Beetle named Herbie. Seeing the four pedestrians, Herbie opens his passenger side door as a gesture to offer a ride. The four of them discuss who'll sit behind the wheel. Roger confesses overdramatically that he's the worst driver in Toontown, and the two little girls can only drive go-karts, so Tron reluctantly concedes to be the driver. As they drive along the street, Tron confesses: "It may be kind of nimble, but it's not as sleek and aerodynamic as my lightcycle." Uh-oh! Herbie heard that insult, causing him to pop a wheelie and race down the street at breakneck speed. "I think you made it mad!" shouts Roger. He then turns to Herbie and pleads: "Look, he didn't mean it! He was only kidding, okay? He apologizes! He acquiesces!! He takes it back!!! HE SAYS HE'S SORRY!!!!" But Lilo and Vanellope are too busy enjoying the ride to get scared. "Yes, yes, I do take it back!" shouts Tron as he lets go of the wheel. "I'm sorry I offended you." Herbie then comes to a sudden stop at a parking lot near where the four pedestrians were planning to go anyway. "Wow!" exclaims Lilo. "you're wilder to ride than a surfboard!" "I'm with Lilo on that," agrees Vanellope as she pats Herbie's hood. "You're the kind of car that can take on Sugar Rush anytime." "If you weren't real, Herbie," confesses Roger, "I'd swear you'd make the perfect toon." Herbie then wags his little body to show his appreciation of their compliments.
