It may have taken several hours to build, but it was worth the effort. Not only is it large and sturdy enough for Dolly, but it's also far enough away from the waves.
"You know, I haven't built one of these things since I was your age," Mom tells Dolly. "Doing it again makes me feel like a little kid again."
"I'm glad you like it, Mommy," answers the enthusiastic little girl.
"Just don't even think of using your 'power of imagination' to turn me into a little kid," warns Mom. "Otherwise we'll both be stuck here for a long time."
"Oh, all right, Mommy," says Dolly with a blushing smile.
