I was gonna ask how a slug evolves into a tortoise, but I guess wackier evolutions exist xD
I always thought the same thing about the two!

Like how does an otter become a walrus of some weird sort? Or a seal becomes a mermaid? Let's not forget a blob of gas that evolves into a Legendary Pokemon (a bat or lion)! I'm sure you know what Pokemon those are! XD
I still keep expecting it to be thrown out there that those fish are the same evolutionary chain somehow in every future game that comes out! XD

It was an interesting evolution line. You know--and since Torkol came from the same games, for the longest time ever I kept (in my head) thinking Torkol was the ultimate evolution of THIS particular line. XD Because, why not--it's not like a final evolution even looks anything like the first form for many Pokemon. XD
I kinda feel that way about Alomola and Luvdisc--why AREN'T they in the same evolutionary chain???
