"When you see a shooting star it could mean that something from incredibly far away just passed through your planets atmosphere. Oftentimes this thing is just a rock of minerals and metals and vaporizes before impacting with the ground. However, sometimes the object may be large enough that it isn't vaporized entirely and will fall into the ground with an explosion. The sky had lit up as dozens of meteors fell down from space accompanied by small quakes as they crashed into the ground. The clear skies that night gave center stage to the display of these falling objects. These falling pieces of debris had come from the far reaches of the universe and had likely been traveling for longer than life had existed on this planet. Miraculously, these objects brought with them a new form of life. The quakes and the display of the falling meteorites attracted a handful of curious forms of life to them. Witnessing these smoldering craters they could see that they were slowly started to fill up with a black liquid originating from the meteorite. However upon closer inspection they would notice that the liquid would not remain still for much longer as they approached."
