Bone Jaws by TheGrinDragon

Bone Jaws

TheGrinDragon

Resin, copper and leather.
I needed to cut the teeth apart using a jeweler's saw. It took about 4 hours and 10 saw blades. :6

It does move with my mouth although I don't have a way to attach it to my face yet.

Oh wow, this is really damn cool looking. I hope saw blades are cheap!

I don't really know how much the blades are cuz I was using the class supply but they come in packages of like 150 or something. Just imagine cutting something with a fat thread. :P

Ahh, that's smaller than I imagined, but makes sense!

I can only imagine how scary it would be to have a full size hacksaw blade just snap while using it. D:
In this case it's just "DANG IT! That's the fifth time!"

Haha! Well mentally I was envisioning like... one of those dinky little pumpkin carver saws XP

              Pfff...that would've been kind of awesome. :D
Probably wouldn't have been able to make all those sharp turns though. I needed to shift positions constantly at each tooth point. @.@

;P this is why I always make the bottoms separate from the tops.

also I wonder if you could have used a scroll saw instead?

Well, at least the mold was easy to make. :P

I couldn't have used a scroll saw because I would imagine that I'd need to try and cut both the left and right sides at the same time, which would've been impossible. @.@

hrrmm. depends on how big the scroll saw is. if these jaws are big, you could have it curve above the scroll saw. then again, all I use is a tiny glass cutting scrollsaw.
