It was a wonderful afternoon when my dearest and I decided to travel to Stone Mountain here in Georgia and immerse ourselves in some very well-deserved hiking. Stone Mountain is a beautiful masterpiece of some of nature’s finest work. Technically, the “mountain” is one hunk of granite and is one of the largest (if not the largest) granite outcropping in the world. It’s a wonderful hike and I encourage anyone to visit. It’s a shame I don’t have any good pictures of Stone Mountain to post at the moment. Anyway enough with my blabbering. The two of is decided to head to the historic district and visit some antique shops. Antique shops always provide an air of mystery and level of wonder, not to mention providing plenty of wonderful photography opportunities. When I spotted this lovely drapery of jewelry just dealing off this gem-encrusted glass and the light piercing it just perfectly, I knew I was in photography heaven. I’m very satisfied with the way this turned out. I added some ambiance to the picture though some reading in lighting and a little color saturation to bring out the color. It’s really relaxing to me.
