Bio: Manuel seemed to be doomed to failure from the start. He was a welfare child with a no-show father, and he was constantly bullied by his neighbors over his height, his missing father, and his big ears. While others looked for acceptance in gangs, or tried to silence their troubles with drugs, Manuel instead chose rigorous self-improvement, delving into the martial arts and amateur bodybuilding. By the time he turned eighteen, he had earned a black belt in karate, and could bench press his own weight. He works multiple jobs, hoping to accomplish through patience, discipline, and tough love what police crackdowns and government programs could not - a stable, peaceful community. He is also a devout Catholic - coincidentally attending the same church that Fleur de Lis works at.

Personality: A very lively, highly motivated individual. He's calm and collected, but often has difficulty opening up to others. He's reluctant to fight in any way, but he has no problem calling people out for stupid, self-destructive, or criminal behavior
