-Crowd control: Many of La Llorona's powers can be used over a large area with non-lethal results, making her a valuable tool for dispersing riots and disabling large groups of enemies

Weaknesses:
-Relationships: La Llorona is romantically involved with Peligro, and willingly acts as his mole in the Mexican BOS
-Power Limitations: La Llorona's wails only last as long as she can forcibly exhale. Thus, she is incapable of using them if she is winded, stifled, or otherwise unable to breathe normally. Her powers are also extremely painful to use if she gets laryngitis
-Hand-to-hand: La Llorona is largely inept at martial arts, relying heavily on her ghostly touch
Bio:
Carmen received her powers after risking her life to rescue what she thought were three children from a flooded river. In actuality, they were the ghosts of the children of the infamous Mexican spirit known as La Llorona. They rewarded her kindness by granting her powers similar to those of their mother: an affinity for water, the touch of the grave, and an eerie, heart-rending scream. After registering, she was soon assigned to do surveillance on a suspected drug lord - Miguel Torres, known to the criminal underworld only as Peligro. She tried to keep her mind on her duties, but she found herself increasingly infatuated with the suave, strong, and virile otter. Miguel, too, found her attractive, and after her investigation concluded that there was "insufficient evidence" to link Miguel with the drug trade, the two began a romantic relationship. Although Carmen is loyal to the ideals of being a superhero, she will also work to protect her beloved.
Personality: Carmen often seems to be lost in thought or distant. Though she still works dutifully for the BOS, she will almost always bend the rules to keep Miguel's secret identity and true occupation from becoming known. She does not fear Peligro - in fact, she could break every bone in his body with a single scream. Instead, she is motivated by genuine love, despite her knowledge of his multiple partners and his violent job.
