Speedpaint I did a couple days back of some worldbuilding stuff. It's a creature called a Reh-Draya. (Which translates to something roughly akin to "mind eater" in phoenix talk.) Basically they're really intelligent (arguably even smarted than humans) descendants of troodons that survived the world's equivalent of the Mesozoic extinction event.
They live on a sort of Lost World type continent isolated from the other beings that populate the planet of Ahkahl and are greatly feared for their ability to severe the connection of a soul to a body.
