Here is where I'll be submitting some of my story projects and other miscellaneous pieces of writing that I happen to create. Feedback is always welcome and I'll try my best to reply to every comment I receive. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy the stories~

Greetings, readers! In light of some recent developments, I've chosen to discontinue my old story project that I've been working on since I felt that I haven't gotten anywhere with it. Instead, I'll be working on a new project titled "Escape Velocity". I'll be posting more details later, but here's a bit of a hook for anyone who might be interested in reading it:

On the planet of Alyntara, the touch of war never fades. Forty-two years ago, an extraterrestrial race known simply as the “Zealots” invaded this once lush garden world, stripping it of its resources and slaying its inhabitants. Resistances cropped up with what little military power there was, but none were a match for the brutal onslaught of the Zealots. Few survived the violent massacres, and even fewer still reside on this nearly abandoned planet. One such brave soul is a young Jackal by the name of Egan, blessed by the touch of fire and strengthened by his engineering know-how and augmented prosthetics. Abandoned at a young age by the survivors of the resistance, he was taught to survive by one of the few remaining androids that was abandoned with him.

Strong of will and knowing the hollow landscapes like the back of his hand, he combs the husk of a city for spare parts to keep his weapons in check and the endless jungles for sustenance. The rough life he leads has taught him to be weary of his surroundings, lending him the upper hand and allowing him to evade detection by the Zealot scouts that still scour the planet’s surface.

During one of his routine missions, something goes awry. He spots a foreign shuttle crashing through the atmosphere and hurdling into the jungle. Curiosity grips the young jackal and he sets out to find this mysterious craft. It doesn’t take him long to locate the wreckage of the ship, a quick scan by his android, Dexter, revealing that the foreign vessel houses an off-worlder: one of the elusive drakes said to reside on planets near the center of the galaxy. With a bit of quick thinking, he manages to dislodge the entry hatch and retrieve the unconscious pilot, using the aid of his android helper to carry the drake back to their hideout. Several days pass before the scaled giant finally awakens, calmly introducing himself as Damien before asking where he is.

After a bit of back and forth, Egan finally explains that he’s stranded in the jungles of Alyntara and that he and Dexter were the ones who saved him from whatever fate would have befallen him otherwise. He also offers to house him for as long as it’s necessary and even offers to help with the repairs in an attempt to be rid of the “extra weight” as soon as possible.
Through a long series of twists and turns, the two eventually learn to care for one another, and the simple tasks they had set out to complete take a turn for the unexpected and put them through a living Hell just to make it out on the other side. The ruins of a hollow civilization house creatures beyond imagining and even more disturbing stories of the terrible atrocities that where committed here. It’s a fight for their lives as these two young men struggle against the harsh conditions of an abandoned world, finding hope in the promise of what lies just beyond their grasp. In a story of self-awakening, growth, friendship, and philosophy, watch as two young souls brave their fears for a shot at a better life.
