"... in before 'what is love'."

This is a do-over of one of the older Memo To Myself pieces, and even here I'm not entirely sure my point is clear. Originally I was in fact taking a jab at DeviantART's slogan, "DeviantART loves you!", where they seemingly don't. They just want your money, and they're ignorant to good design.

This leads onto questioning the meaning of "love" and the heart symbol. Not in regards to say, is your relationship real or all sorts, but when the word or <3 are used in any old thing. I might say I love art, but that is a very broad statement. I also love the works of Kotaro Uchikoshi: Ever17, 9.9.9., etc. That is a much more specific statement, and it becomes a different kind of love. Yet it uses the same word.

Now in regards to the art itself, I've observed before the technique of a black and white layer, with colour blended over the top. I tried the same here, only the values layer was done traditionally. I'm not entirely sure it turned out as planned...
