Chapter 19: Chairbound; Day 269

The next stop on the voyage was MacBeth, an epicenter for train enthusiasts as well as anyone who was truly into technology. At the beginning of the voyage, Fox was looking forward to visiting this planet…
…which surprised Krystal all the more when Fox decided to stay on the ship. She tried to ask Fox many times if he wanted to go with her, but he insisted he’d be fine and he was better off staying on the ship to keep an eye out for it. With much reluctance, Krystal left the ship without Fox wondering what the deal was.

After Krystal came back, she tried to again ask Fox why he hadn’t been so dedicated recently to his position as captain. He showed little stress over the situation as he simply could reach over to the vending machine or order a meal whenever he felt hungry…. Which by this point was at least once an hour. However the realization for Krystal came when she wanted him to join her in the bedroom, to which he politely declined…. It then became clear to her that his weight had pinned him down to the chair.

“I might have gone a little overboard with the desserts….” Fox chuckled.
