Starfox Lylat Cruise 2/25

SWSU-Master

As luck would have it, thanks to the advice of Fox’s family and friends, Fox found that the accommodations on a cruise ship were surprisingly similar to his own Great Fox only there would be more passengers on the ship rather than a small crew AND that even a grand liner was FAR more upscale than his own ship. Fox was still trying to wrap his head around some of the details such as how long one voyage took, but even with these questions he was already off to apply to be the new captain of one of these luxury cruises.

The good news was Fox’s resume was MORE than sufficient for the job. Fox could even hear his soon-to-be predecessor give glowing praise though the fact it was so easy to get the job left Fox unaware of a couple key tells about his new career. All Fox could think about despite trying to hold back such rude thoughts or any kind of unusual facial expressions were “I guess this is one kind of ship that doesn’t have a fitness standard.”

The retiring captain wasn’t even trying to hide the “risks” of this job oddly enough. Fox should’ve been able to see the captain’s own gut in his lap of luxury was a sign of how easy it was to end up as large as him. The captain was mentioning “The Captains life may not be fitting for someone as active and young as you. I understand this is not as difficult as managing the Great Fox, but it also involves much less activity than what you may be used to.”

Fox paid no mind to these words, his only reply being “Got it. So when do I start my first voyage?” Fox had no idea he’d soon regret not asking more about what the captain meant by his vague warning.
