Ryder was once the princess of a prosperous seedrian kingdom, before the Dradow Queen's forces invaded. The Dradows assimilated all of the people of her kingdom, turning them into more Dradows. One Dradow nearly got her but she managed to escape. However, her face is scarred from that encounter, so she wears a mask to conceal her wounded face. She has a pet hawk that is her most loyal friend.
