This is a drawing of a powerful artifact for my realm and my equivalent of the Chaos Emeralds, the Cube of Thunderbolts. The cube is as old as the Surge Empire System and is composed of eight pieces: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, cyan, purple, and white.

Each cube appears to be made of a stone-like substance, but each one conatins advanced technology. Each cube piece is able to project a virtual screen and keyboard, allowing each cube fragment to be used as a computer. Each cube piece also gives off energy, allowing them to power machines. The greatest power of the cubes when separated is that each one has a built in radar which can detect the other 7 pieces. Each cube is able to project a holographic sphere that has arrows in it that allow it to find the other pieces.

As a whole:
The cube's power increases when its brought together. The cubes can be used as a computer, but eight pieces means eight processors, making it super smart. The cube is able to supercharge characters, allowing them to assume a state similar to a super transformation. The cube can power large vehicles and can be used to set off lightning novas, which deal massive damage over a wide radius, though the cube must recharge for 2.5 minutes between uses. The Cube of Thunderbolts has an abort function which separates it into its 8 pieces and scatters them, resetting the hunt for it.
