Chapter 26: The Astroid Lab

After sailing out of the field of asteroids, Astro noticed something on his radar. There was a giant asteroid floating in the midst of the field with few others around it.

"If I'm correct, that's it. Land there." Astro said.

"Ok." Aero replied.

Aero landed the Cutlass on the asteroid's surface. Our heroes then stepped out to explore the asteroid. It was gray with lots of craters and it was far out in space. In the distance, they could see a giant blue and green planet, which Astro told them was Alterra.

Our heroes began searching for an entrance to the lab. Yuesbi used his scanner to help them find it. After half an hour, he found a crater 60 feet from the Cutlass landing site that looked like the way in.

"Hey, I found something!" he said.

"Yuesbi, this looks like it. Let's enter." Pressing the button activated an air lock door allowing them to enter an air lock to prevent the vacuum of space from entering the lab. After entering another air lock door, our heroes were inside the laboratory.

"Ok, let's see if we can find Archibald. And stick together." Astro said.

After searching for a while, Sakura found something that may have looked like him. Inside the room was a red and yellow Jetroid with triangular wings. The room had a variety of workbenches and tables along with some computers and filing cabinets.

"Let's go see him." Astro said.

Meanwhile outside, Vaxtus crawled out of the Cutlass's secret compartment and stepped outside.

"That compartment was cramped" he said stretching. "Those asteroids didn't make it any better. I'd better see if this is the place."

Activating an X-ray scan, he did a sweep of the asteroid and found that it was indeed Archibald's new lab, and he also saw the heroes about to enter the room where Archibald was. Scanning further, he found the air lock they used to enter. He went in after them.
