I'm familiar with a few MCU platforms:
Parallax BASICStamp, Arduino, TI MSP430 < Favorite

I am trying to learn FPGAs and CPLDs... wow is that harder than I thought.

I am a PC abuser, Lenovo Thinkpads 4ever, but I have been known to carry a Latitude CPx or a Probook 6735b

I don't buy desktops, I build them.

Current "Desktop":
Intel Server board
2x Xeon E5530 @ 2.40GHz
32GB ECC RAM
480GB SSD (Boot Drive)
~4.5TB of mechanical disks in various types of RAIDs (IBM ServeRAID M1015 controller)
Nvidia 8400GS graphics... because with CPU's that hot, what the heck do you need a real GPU for? XD
