Fox/Snow Leopard hybrid. He's got issues, not the least of which is he's badly drawn.

Name: Fancy Snowfox

Age: 26

Species: Snow Leopard / Red Fox

Physical description: Bushy snow leopard tail, rear and legs until the knee are snow leopard patterned, which fades to white until black 'socks'. Leopard pattern continue up small of back and halfway up the sides where it fades into red, then resumes at shoulders down the arms until it fades at the elbows into white, then black 'gloves'. The spots continue a bit up his neck. His head is mostly red-vulpid shaped, with a wider and slightly rounder muzzle than normal. His right ear is torn off halfway, from a kithood injury. He is noticebly overweight, with a belly, but still leads a somewhat active lifestyle.

Background: Fancy was born to a red fox and a snow leopard, but was left abandoned at a orphanage shortly after being born. As a kit, he was the subject of a lot of abuse and bullying due to his markings, and in one fight lost his right ear to a cub Marc, although Fancy does not remember him, nor the presence of Dylan at the orphanage.

When he was 12, a mated pair of gray foxes from Eastern Europe took him in, halfway through the school year. While they did not adopt him or become parents, they became Aunt and Uncle, and taught him for the remaining of the school year, working to build up his confidence and instill a sense of the importance of learning. Starting in a new school, he managed to project confidence that hid how insecure he still was, but still managed to become somewhat popular due to his 'exotic' looks, his 'cool' injury, and his willingness to help others with schoolwork.

When he went to highschool, his foster parents told him that they would not be able to fund him through college, so he would have to get a job and work hard to get scholarships. This drove him to excel in academics, and at school where he was still thought of as 'nice' and 'cool' for his willingness to help others with their own work. He also got a job at a department store, first working as a cashier, then moving to customer service, and then promoted to Customer Service lead shortly before he graduated highschool.

When he graduated, his foster parents told him that they lied about college money, and had enough to double whatever he had earned through working and scholarships, and gave him the full amount. At this point, it was encouraged that he leave the house, so he moved into the dorms at a college a few states away, where he got a degree in business, and a computer certifcation. After getting his degree, he secured a job at a tech company as business level customer support lead, a position that many believe he is over-qualified for but he is happy in.

Fancy is gay, and has known this since he was placed back in school by his aunt and uncle. However, due to his insecurities, he has told anyone, and believes he remains firmly in the closet with no sign. This is not the case, but the two people who do know have their reasons not for sharing that they know with him.

Personality: He has no desire except to be accepted, and often can go into a deep bout of depression when it's rubbing in his face. His usual outward disposition of happy bouncy belies this, so the first time his adult companions saw him have a breakdown, they were taken by surprise.

He has a crush on Dylan, and has had it since Highschool. He sees in Dylan everything he wants to see in himself, but knows he lacks. However, due to his general insecurity, he is scared to admit that he is gay to anyone, and especially to Dylan. This has the reaction of Dylan thinking Fancy doesn't like him, which Dylan dates back to their days in the orphanage. Fancy is one of two people that knows that Dylan dyes his fur orange, and longs to tell the tiger that he need not bother.

The only person who knows about Fancy's crush on Dylan is Marc, who is keeping silent because he is in love with Fancy himself.

In general: In general, Fancy is a troubled individual. He's never known a family, but longs to have a close relationship, but doesn't quite know how to start one. His aunt and uncle provide a good example on how to keep one going, but the first step is a mystery to him. He's very insecure and depressed, something he keeps hidden from the world, and for their part, the world wonders why such a cool, fun, wonderful person who has a great job that he loves and plenty of people who respect and look up to him has occasional bouts of depression.

Fancy Snowfox currently lives alone in a studio apartment. It's got a computer desk, a small bed, shower, kitchenette, a bookshelf of reference materials, and a painting of forested mountain with snow on the peaks.
