There are no secrets from Mark, yet he holds plenty. Of the three who work at Circi Systems who went to the same orphanage, Mark is the only one who remembers the other two, Dylan and Fancy. Only, where Fancy was the subject of bullying, and Dylan did the bullying to give himself cover, Mark was the worst of the bunch. He's the one who actually bit off Fancy's ear, and disappeared shortly thereafter.

He reappears a few years later, completly a different person, going to the same middle school as Dylan, and later the same highschool. It's here where he falls in love with Fancy, as here is someone that he regretted doing so much to, and he was... alive. Personable. Living, and strong. It wasn't for awhile that the coyote noticed Fancy's weaknesses, and became a good friend.

However, he will never let Fancy know how he feels, because Mark thinks he's not worthy after what the coyote put the hybrid through back in the orphanage.

Mark, these days, is a benevolent trickster. Of the three, he was the only one who ended up in a decent family setting, which helped him recover from what had possessed him in the past.
