Proportions and Three-Point Perspective by struguri

Proportions and Three-Point Perspective

struguri

This is a proportion study trying to determine how perspective affects proportion. I came up with a construction technique utilizing very basic shapes (circles, triangles and lines) to create a figure that's easily malleable in multiple points of perspective. Of course, continuing on the thread of "holy shit I can't think spacially," I had to figure out a way to figure it out.

I don't really quite know how to put it into coherent words, really? But if you take a look, it shouldn't be hard to figure out my geometric methodology here. It's very basic.

The blue lines represent lines that you, the viewer, can see.

The red lines represent lines that you, the viewer, cannot see.

The green lines represent the intersecting space between the two points of visibility, acting as a plane to help visualize what's going on.
