People who have listened to me talk about buildings know that I love hotels/motels with exterior corridors, especially the ones designed in the "glass wall" style. I don't think I've ever seen one built in a curve, though, so I decided to draw one. If you do the math, you'll see that it needs more parking, but I just drew what I thought looked good. I probably should've used different pencils; I had to darken the hell out of this. It's okay, though, because that badger has the key!
Ah, yes, the Watergate! Does the hotel have any part that uses exterior corridors to access the rooms, or does it just have balconies? Exterior corridors have always been rare in upscale hotels.

I'm not sure. There are lots of pictures of the complex floating around, but it's not always clear which building is the hotel. (Many people seem to label any photo taken there as the hotel.) This building pretty clearly has balconies - note the gaps between them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Watergate_complex_washington.jpg This one, though, has what looks like external corridors on the second floor (concrete wall) and third floor (concrete wall and iron fence); the upper floors look to be balconies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Watergate_Hotel_%26_Apartments.jpg

I can think of a curved hotel on the East Coast, although I don't know if it qualifies for the glass-wall style. It became rather infamous in June, 1972. >_>
