This sort of felt like a way-back machine drawing. In the 90's I used to love a lot of Elmore art (I still do, but my palette has expanded). I used to also pay a lot of attention to anatomy as well.
That slipped away until recently. I got lazy. I have no other excuses than I just couldn't be arsed to try and get anything looking right.
But I'm trying to get back into taking my time to draw again. I'm not sure if it's worth it, as I cannot judge my own work anymore. But in terms of enjoyment this was up there. I'm starting to at least get more comfortable with colour work again.
Cinders, in turn, feels all powerful with her new totem spirit. The all powerful Jjim Hjenson, son of Kjermit.
I can't take credit for the idea of Kjermit as a totem spirit. That was Gen all the way.

Haha... awesome totem spirit. Very creative design all round - armour design is gorgeous (as is the character herself of course). I like how the eyes look almost glowing - a very mystical type of colour that well suits her. Also neat is that little lantern hook on the armour - very creative!
