So this one is a bit of a birthday gift for   anubiis_werewolf I had intended to make this more birthday themed, but this idea grabbed my hand and whispered "run"... so I ran with it.

I absolutely love the look of the flashback sort of theme with the Undertale series. This very sepia, old timey feel to it. And really, any excuse to draw up these sweet babbus... So I aged the character Solaris down, so that he'd be right at home in this piece XD I'd like to imagine this picture captures a trip to the park before they all go for cake and ice cream and party games.

    It was an ingenious concept how these flashback/nostalgic scenes were presented in a sepia tone... like a classic photograph one finds in their great-grandparent's photo collection, stashed away in a random box residing in an attic crawlspace. :3

    You've done an awesome job with this piece! ;) Sweet idea for a birthday gift. <3 Though you considered adding more birthday-based content, the idea of keeping the scenario confined to an Undertale-themed image... filled you with determination.

    A dra-cat hybrid. Now how radical is that? That's Solaris, huh? Dang. I'm sold. 8) I really adore seeing your stylistic take on Asriel as well. That sweet little goat-monster child had me wrecked in emotion during my first playthrough, I swear... X'3 he looks really sweet conveyed through your vision!

      Oh for sure! The game did an amazing job with the flashback colors. Toby Fox knows how to set up a scene for sure! :p The screenshots I based the colors off of are totally like something you would find in an old attic XD

      And thank you so much! I really wanted any excuse at all to draw up some Undertale stuff, and I thought this idea would just be way too fun to pass up. I wasn't wrong either. So much determination in this doodler, for sure XD

      And oh man... dragon cats are awesome :3 And sweet babbu Asriel... HE NEEDS TO BE ABOVE GROUND! HE NEEDS TO BE WITH HIS GOAT MOM AND GOAT DAD AND FRISK!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were to watch the playthrough again... I'm pretty sure I'd cry again. Because his story is SO FRIGGIN SAD!!!! Poor sweet goat baby... And I'm so glad that you like the way I drew up Asriel... I think I need to draw this little guy a bit more XD PREPARE YOUR FEELS!!!!!
