Lumi had been waiting for a good fifteen minutes already, and she was starting to get a little anxious. Twitching nervously as she looked around and saw no sign of anyone on the horizon, she decided to check the letter from her pen-friend one more time.

"Heya Lumi,

That sounds totally sweet!! Me and South were already planning to head up to Summerhill on Saturday, if you can hop on down too then we can all chill out together! It'll be awesome! I can show you an awesome game South showed me with a Persian I know! Don't dress too warm, though- I know you like it cold and it's been on the warmish side down here this week!

Lumi frowned after checking the time and place on the weather-beaten letter - everything seemed right. Oh well, she would just have to wait a little longer, maybe they were late? Yeah that was it. Meeting up with Pammy and South was definitely worth waiting around a little longer for!

"I should step on whatever weather station said it was gonna be 'swimming weather' today! It's colder than that time we went for snowcones in the North Pole!" South griped to Pamela.

"Hey, at least you have a big fluffy coat! So much for our heat wave, I'm freezing here!" Pamela groused before continuing, "I don't get it, though; Lumi said she'd be here!"

"Hey, er... Pammy? What's that big pink snowflake shaped thing behind the clouds up there?"

Pamela, looked up, and up, and up, and then a bit higher after that, nearly toppling over backwards from the sheer scale of what was in front of her. Far beyond the clouds, on the very edge of her sight was the faded silhouette of the far away shape of colossal Sneasel paws, claws, and boots, looming around them in every single direction.

A fun picture from earlier in the year, and one that I've wanted to colour for quite some time! It looks like Lumi's been given the opportunity to meet up with some fellow macros, something that she's never had the opportunity to do so before. But it seems that the hike over the cold North Atlantic's left her a little bigger than her friends expected.

For those curious, Lumi can grow or shrink at any time that she wants. However when she is cold she finds it easier to grow, and harder to shrink, and when she is warm she finds it harder to grow and easier to shrink. However, things become difficult when she becomes TOO cold, as she gets so finds it increasingly difficult to NOT grow.

So it seems she might have slightly underestimated her size here from having no real point of reference in the open seas. Also, the bigger she is, the colder her extremities become, being an ice pokémon it means that she eventually ends up with an aura of coldness around her feet that essentially flash freezes things. The advantage of this is it means that if she's about to accidentally step on a city, it would be encased in ice, protecting it, before disappearing as quickly as it came once Lumi's left the area.
