Why hello there Weasyl users!

I'm Yazhi Harlin, or Yaz if you're a friend, and I'm a Honshū Wolf cross Siberian Husky.

I am currently 16 years old, and a Cancer with my birthday falling on July 19th.

I live in England, and go by Greenwich Mean Time.

I'm very recently single, and not interested at all in a new relationship.

I've been drawing since I remember, and took it as a subject when I did my GCSEs in high school. I'm more experienced at traditional work, but digital has made a front since I got SAI.

I currently use a mechanical pencil with a 0.5mm lead insert and a drawing pen for my traditional, and a Wacom Bamboo One tablet for my digital work.

I'm also a fan of video games, especially loving the Okami franchise (it's so pretty OwO).

I haven't been a furry for that long actually; only really since I left school.

I'm super looking forward to when I can afford a fursuit, though it seems a heck of a way off yet.

I left school on June 24th 2015 and started college studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, which is a 2 year course. It's hard and stressful but I really like it.

I really want to work with dogs or in wolf conservation when I graduate but I haven't quite decided.

Though my college workload is why I'm not accepting commissions until around June.

Hey guys, seeing a lot of these but it's a yearly bandwagon that I'm happy to jump on.

So, just one and a half hour left of 2015 as I'm typing this, and to be honest I have mixed feelings about this year. I'm happy to see it go because of all the bad shit, but so much was good that I almost don't want it to end.
To be honest, I don't even remember most of it.
Am I leaving 2015 the same person I started? No.
Do I like the person I am now? Not really. I could still change so many things about myself that still manage to haunt me even if I've left school.
But that leads me to something else;
A lot's happened this year.
I've left school, started and finished work experience at a 24 hour emergency vet's, I've also started college. And for what? To reach my ultimate goal of working with dogs and wolves? Probably. But plans change. At the end of next year I might be taking a completely different path.
A lot can happen in a year, but that doesn't mean it will.

In terms of change, this year has definitely seen the most. Since I left that hellhole, Eastwood Academy, I've become so much less defensive at every little thing, I'm less likely to snap at the touch of a nerve, and most of my demons have disappeared.
That doesn't mean I'm a much better person for it.
But I'm getting there.

Am I leaving 2015 with the same people I started with? I'm not sure. I'm still friends with many of the people I started this year with, but I don't talk to them as much because we're not forced to spend six hours a day, five days a week with each other.
Of course, some I have made an effort to keep in touch with because I feel wanted, needed.

On the art side of things, I've improved a fuck ton, especially with my digital work, though I still feel most of it gets ignored apart from one... maybe two people.

Of course, my little striped wolf is still for sale if y'all want to discuss a price >.<

But even in these references you can see an improvement; in January I wouldn't even attempt anthro. Now I think Yazhi represents me in a way that none of the others could really do. Apart from maybe Spooks, who is staying on as my little mascot/feral 'sona.

But anyway, I think that's all I have to say in this journal.
