I know I don't normally update my sketchbook doodles here but I REALLY like this one.
Finally worked up the guts to draw this motherfucker (after like 5 or 6 hours of fanboying over Transformers with xxjewelynxx, and really only because I wanted to color him with my new markers. The things I do for art.
Inked in fountain pen, which was really cool. Might have to try that more often. Colored in Copics and touched up in Prismacolor colored pencil.

Oh geez, thank you! That's really great to hear since I just got these like a week ago and have been kind of experimenting non-stop ever since XD I NEVER WANT TO PUT THEM DOWN
If you like my robo things, keep an eye out because like 20 min after finishing this I started working on a Transformers oc because I'm terrible nerd trash lol. May or may not end up posting some WIPs to Tumblr, not sure yet.
I don't usually post my sketch stuff on Weasyl or FA because a) I like to keep these clutter-free since they're more professional galleries and b) I'm lazy as fuck and going through the whole submission process for one sketch is a pain in the ass XD I post them on Tumblr because it's fast, easy, and I can post more than on at a time lol

Copics are like a gift from the cosmos they're so amazing. I wish I had the budget to get more of them because ever since I got some last December I want all of the markers now.
Bah, I'm fellow nerd trash so you shouldn't be sorry at all. I practically had OCs for every fandom I was into when I was younger and the only reason I stopped was because my own world became developed enough to just create characters there, haha.
In that case, expect me to follow you over there shortly! I need more artist blogs to follow anyway.

SORT OF. I'm actually really really dumbfounded by Transformers-style robots because lol what even is their anatomy though lol. But I can do my own, more standard humanoid-shaped robots fairly well!

O.O Wowsers you are awesome! ^^ I wish I was good as you, drawing TRANSFORMERS. They're so hard! XC Which doesn't help since I'm a perfectionist. Nicely done on this and one of my favorite characters too! ^^

Hahah thank you! Just remember, the only way to get "as good as" (or hell, even better!) as someone else is to practice! I'm a perfectionist too so it can be done XD

Your marker technique in this is to die for. Your robots, mechs and cyborgs (including fanart designs) are always a source of inspiration for me, seriously. I love looking at stuff that artists have in their sketchbooks so sharing more of these is perfectly alright by me!
