Some of my older watchers from other galleries might remember this piece; I'd say its certainly one of my more well-known submissions.

One of the characters for my story Uncanny Hosts. This actually started as a concept for a scene in it (no I'm not going to say which, since it's quite far along and I haven't even written that part yet. And I don't want to spoil it!). This picture is kind of old (the date says Dec. 2010), but I'm still fond of it regardless.

Done on 11''x14'' 130 gsm Strathmore Drawing paper with 2H, B, 2B, and 6B pencils with white gel pen for additional highlights. Reference used for the raven in the foreground. Art belongs to me, character jointly belongs to myself and my significant other.
