I very much like the art of https://www.furaffinity.net/user/nerior so I keep an eye out for their opening- I got lucky this time and decided to get another pic of Jenny, especially since they love doing equine stuff! Jenny is from a 'Weird West' world, where Native Americans (and a fair number of other cultures) have a chance to express physical, magical changes. In Jenny's case, she's a sileni- a horse satyr.

She was raised in New Orleans; her father was white, her mother of the tribes indigenous to the region (I don't have my notes handy). Her mother died on a cholera outbreak, and her father later remarried a white woman, a few years later.

Jenny was a hellion, getting into trouble and definitely not being the 'nice young lady' she was expected to be. She finally left her loving, if stifling, home life for a life of adventure.

Her stories would take place just after the Civil War, with the height of the Old West. :)
