But no, there's a little plot to the characters that I eventually plan to make a tiny comic for. Sirocco accidentally adopts Drift as a child [quite literally just finds him wandering around during a galactic expedition, does not realize he's a sentient creature], Vane thinks his son was stolen from him. Vane tries to track him down for over a decade, only to find out Drift prefers Sirocco as his father due to having been raised by him. Vane somewhat unwillingly joins Sirocco's group, just to keep an eye on his son since Drift refuses to leave Sirocco. It's a silly fiasco and plays a minor part in a larger plot.
