In the current climate, I need to take a break and do a bit of what I like to do. Otherwise I'm going to shoot myself.

I wanted to do more elves. This is my new character Eckair, I love him so very much already.

I'm sure most people would remark on his horns, which are pretty unusual to have for an elf, or any race in the world that does not normally grow a rack, but I think a more characteristic trait of Eckair is that he wears a neck brace (because of the horns) so that his neck doesn't go crack too much and it is something I find highly symbolic of my design philosophy (and also very cute). You don't really see it in this picture because it's hidden under the collar but it's there.

You see, it's not about having a very rare, exceptional part about yourself, it's really all about what it means to you or the others, and to Eckair, it means a neck brace and a lot of faceplanting when he attempts to roll the wrong way. In this universe, horns like these are a sign of natural wisdom, and there is a spiritual reason why Eckair suddenly started growing them when he was young; but in this universe, people are also still people, and having massive "wisdom horns" also means having a really heavy pair of pokers or the head of someone who might not necessarily have the neck meant to bear the weight, and also a lot of horn jokes, horn pranks and horns accidents, such as broken vases and stuck-in-branches situations.

Yes, this is not a very quality sketch, everything is a bit bad and I could not spare any time to refine it. As I said... I'm in a bit of a bad time here. I can't afford it. But I love my Eckair. I know things about his life that are adorable.
