Kacek and Zosha are partnered bounty hunters. They met when Zosha killed Kacek's best friend Jan to claim the bounty on his head for the rape and murder of a peasant girl a while ago. Following Jan's dying wish that Kacek does not attempt to avenge him, and after a series of circumstances, Kacek sees an opportunity in becoming Zosha's associate. After an initial distrust the pair grew close and trusting quite quickly, as far as human-gnollish blood business relationships tend to go.

Kacek: Kacek is a Kazo warrior already veteran of a battlefield or two and many more scraps. Somewhat of a selfish person with a side of opportunistic seediness to him at the start he yet finds himself caring for his new partner so much that he does not bother pretending otherwise to his fellow humans. Although he was disgusted of Jan's crime and wished he would have been here to prevent it he finds himself morally conflicted by the loyalty to his best friend. Before he could prevent his own murder at the hands of Zosha he went with the canon that Jan was still a man with great qualities but who has made a horrible mistake, also taking into account Jan's psycho-traumatic history. Although initially believed by Zosha to be a bad fighter, he proves to be actually well trained and practiced; and recently found it a funny idea to see how could a gnoll fare once he gave it some formal training.

Zosha: Zosha used to wander the lands of the Kazo on her own as an Exiled and make a living out of the blood jobs humans don't like to do. Even then she receives little gratitude, for history between gnolls and Kazo humans is still being written in letters of blood. Since she is with Kacek however things are bound to change as she now enjoys the effects of having a human mediator acting as the face of the pair, a face much more trusty and appealing to the commonly xenophobe man. She now gets to enter the inns, get her wounds treated, and is no longer denied a bounty reward with impunity; it's as if she could drop her hard-earned survivalist routine and start simply living for a change. Being a sight that sticks out she often gets nicknamed by those who ignore her real name through her worn gray wolf cloak, "Grey Cloak" or "Wolf-Back Beast" being, obviously, imaginative examples. Behind her low-profile nature Zosha hides an outright otherworldly skill in combat and it slowly becomes apparent to Kacek that he found himself one of the few real badasses of this world. Despite that, it turns out she can have a pretty kind comportment when she wants to, leaving one wondering what sort of person she was before she came into this life.

Together they form an increasingly successful bounty hunting duo and it is believed the kingdom will soon run out of miscreants to chase.
