"I lay upon a rock sitting underneath the shadows created by a nearby banana tree. I moan a bit as the summer heat still finds its way to me even as I rest in a shaded spot. I couldn't quite find a nearby cave to take shelter in, and I won't be able to hide under this rock since it won't budge. I don't think I could move it even if I were to be a giant anaconda.
It just feels weird not wearing my scarf. It’s part of my identity and I have to leave it off me during this hot weather. I can be quite stubborn about wearing a scarf even during spring. That being said, sometimes the heat is just unbearable and I have to raise the white flag.
I'm quite the sensitive snake. :P "
