Sorry I have't posted anything for a while. I haven't actually drawn anything in a while TBH. I just... haven't been feeling good.

Anyway, I wanted to draw to distract myself and try to feel better. I couldn't think of what to draw so I looked up song lyrics until something inspired me.

This was inspired by the line "Deep in her eyes I think I see my future," in the song "Shut up and Dance" by Walk The Moon. At first the eyes were going to reflect something sappy, like a wedding, but then I thought about it and I kinda wanted to do something less definite to one thing, and I figured people's futures are infinite like the infinity of space... so there you go.

Whatever, it doesn't have to really mean anything. I'm happy with it, and happy I drew something.

This was done in markers and colored pencil. Specifically I used markers on the eyes only, and the rest is colored pencil. Normally I do a marker "wash" and then use colored pencil over that, but I really wanted the eyes to stand out as much as possible so I decided to only use the color rich markers on the eyes. I'm happy with the way that turned out.
