Chromaraptor: Prototype by skepticArcher

Chromaraptor: Prototype

skepticArcher

This little fellow is a chromaraptor! They’re a fantastically colorful species of fluffy dino who love nothing more than to be lap pets and participate in nice long cuddling sessions.

He’s made of thick, soft faux fur and fleece, with painted plastic animal eyes and plastic-cast claws. His teeth are needle-felted wool and his silly smile is hand-stitched.

This is an entirely hand-sewn plush made from an original pattern. They will eventually be open for custom order in different colors once the pattern has been slightly refined.

Do you get your materials online or at a store? I'm having a hard time getting a hold of good materials. xp

A mix of the two! I get the fleece at a local fabric store, wool for felting at Hobby Lobby, and order the fur online from Mendel's Far Out Fabrics. (If you're in the US I would totally recommend them. Their site layout isn't the best but they have a really good selection and will send as many free swatches as you'd like.)
