Kain had heard of tales of a powerful lich lord Vecna that had incredible magic powers, who was betrayed at one point and killed. However legend had it that one of his hands and eyes had remained and whoever possessed it and – if they were crazy enough to do it – replace their hand with it, would be granted some of his powers and strength.

Over his years of adventuring on his own, or joining a party with the hidden agenda to find more power for himself with their help, he had gathered enough information and maps to where the hand was believed to be kept, and a feasible way to be able to get it for himself, finally. His own skills and acquired Vorpal sword and other powerful artifacts combined with that hand would make him quite a feared force to go up against or have knock on your castle’s doors!

And it looks like at this point he has come across where it has been all these years. All the traps and puzzles have been defeated, and victory is almost in his grasp!
