I haven't said much about it yet but I'm working on a long term project about so called "Inner Demons". It's going to become a comic one day about personalisated versions of anxieties, worries, bad behavior... - and especially what they do backstage. I'm still busy with the character design but only with the visualisation. These creatures are so alive in my head I could immediatly tell what they like for breakfast or in which position they like to sleep.
This is "Fear". He represents the fear of physical harm like robbery, violence or rape. He is the cold wind in your neck when you are walking alone down a lousy lit street and hearing steps from somewhere around.

Please don't get it wrong: This comic is not meant to make fun of serious mental or physical illnesses. It is a very difficult and hard topic which very often leads to misunderstandings. Although the comic will have funny aspects I'll also want to show people how grotesque and self-destroying these problems are. How hard it really is to fight your inner demons, may they be about small sins or depressions and anorexia.

However: These are some concept sketches I did in the last weeks when there was a little break. They aren't placed in any particular order but the ones in the middle are the newest. And yes, he is drawn from a very boring perspective first because at "work" he ist a part of the shadow and seen in 2D at walls and stuff. So it's really important to get a recognizable yet scary shape.
