I got a new Wacom graphics tablet so I decided to have a go at drawing something. I wanted to do something simple so I drew the exotic living latex plant called Bushman's Wife from my story with the same name.
"Inside the exhibit was the Bushman's Wife plant. A section of the floor was made up of a porous growth medium. The rubbery plant was planted in the centre of the room. It stood just over a metre tall. It had a large bulb that was a deep rubbery green colour. At the tip of the bulb was an opening it was a bright purple, almost in an unnatural shade."
I am totally new at this art stuff so drawing something "latexy" was ambitious. I think I did a good job for a first go.
