Since I plan to start uploading to this site again, may as well start simple with the digital art I've done since I last used this place, starting with this concept piece I drew up years back about prospective plans I have for my red dragoness character, Sharon Medley.

When I first drew Sharon up so long ago, she was just a cheerful peasant girl with a simple design and not much else going on, but I've had the idea of progressing her backstory for a long time and having her grow up into a cynical mercenary, even attempting some sketches of her prior to this one that ultimately went nowhere due to me being unhappy with the results. This was the first drawing of her I did that I was satisfied with enough to continue working on and, eventually, share with the public.

As the years went by, I would give this version of Sharon only a little bit of attention, focusing my character-building efforts more on her formative young adult years (older than the "Peasant" form, but younger than the "Mercenary" design you see above) as a means of better developing her character. I hope to be able to share that particular "Outcast" version of her here soon.

Still, this concept never left my head, and I do hope to give her a proper ref sheet down the line. The design has indeed changed a little since I drew this up, after all. And I hope you'll all be there to see me finalize the design when I get around to it.
