Joe fits in your style like a glove. You drew the Snape fish to perfection. I really like how you drew his body shapes and his face and his tapering fins.
And you drew him in probably his greatest moment (that song needs to be on my iPod). The shadows here are absolutely delicious, and you really chose a very fitting color palette. I love your version of Shark and the fact that you can see parts of the ruined ship behind them is simply divine.

I'm so happy that I showed you this movie. I'm actually almost angry at how underrated it is, it's one of the most underrated animated films I've ever seen when I'm sure that if they released it right (and didn't stick that horrific cover on it like five years after the movie actually came out), it would've been like We're Back level in terms of people remembering it. There's no fanart (I found like two drawings of Human Joe which means I'm going to have to step up to the plate and draw his horrifying body horror-y self) and it just...doesn't deserve the fate it got.

But yes don't mind me I'm totally fangirling over this movie and I'm kind of dragging everyone down with me yes.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun drawing it and listening to the song like forty times. XD I looked this movie up on amazon and it had pretty good reviews left on it. A lot of people are just about upset about the way the movie was released as well it seems. They could of did it justice, this movie is really good.

Yeah, it's one thing to release it like five years later than the other release dates, thus insuring no one hears of it.
It's another to completely change the cover of the DVD, completely change the title of the movie right after a movie's come out named Shark Tale, and then strip it of all its rather lovely bonus features.
The Amazon reviews are basically "this movie is amazing but you're probably better off buying a UK DVD and get a region free DVD player to do it full justice".

Ah well, here's to hoping that eventually, down the road, it finally gets respect it deserves.
