As if it being one of my favorite types of birds was enough, the striking blue-black treatment of the plumage with the bright green caught my eye all the more. A beautiful and interesting portrait!

Damn, how has nobody commented on this one? The eye and beak especially are fantastic! With the feathers, again I see some parts that look less finished than others, and I think at some point you should go back and get it all to an even level of quality.
But that's just me. It's already great work as it stands, and you have every reason to be proud of it!
