I came up with his back story last night before falling asleep so it's a must I get it out. >C
I also haven't done a picture with a story behind it in a long while. FEELS GOOD.

Even though Cypress is a generally happy character, he had a bad past. HE DOESN'T LET THAT KEEP HIM DOWN, THOUGH!

But I'll start in the beginning with his group and parents.

There is a group of Old World Volatikai that stick together that have some human morals and know how to speak. I don't want to call them a tribe however.
One of their personal laws is to not have any children that have the were form.
Cy's father was the only one with a were form in the group. They had accepted him because he had a good control over it. He was mated to Cy's mother so they were in love... but during one mating season he couldn't control his were so he came out. He ended up raping his mate (though the actual rape itself wasn't traumatic for the female.)
Once he turned back to normal, word got out with what had happened. Like with humans, the group is VERY against rape, but what made it worse was that the rape happened because of the were form. Because of this they ended up brutally killing his father, possibly putting his head on a stick as warning to anyone else.
Mind you, this is before the female even knows she's pregnant.

Once she knows she's pregnant and the rest of the group knows (I'm also trying to figure out how many in the group there are) they try to make her have some kind of abortion. She refuses and in one way or another they allow her to go through with the pregnancy.
Once born, Cy would be shunned and hated for the whole time he's with the group. He doesn't understand why he's hated so much.

Sometime before he reaches puberty, a few of the group are determined that removing his dew claws will make it so he doesn't have a were form anymore (for those who don't know, only Volatikai with dew claws have a were form), so they ended up forcefully removing them.

So this scene is after that and he's hiding.

His mother had been protecting him for several years but ends up shunning him as well because she gets a lot of the hate with him.

Once he hits puberty, he is threatened to leave because they know his were form could come out if the removal of his dew claws didn't work (which it doesn't work) so at this point he may end up turning into his were form for the first time, killing anyone doing the threats. He runs away and is now physically alone.
The were form then will come out at other times, protecting himself from other threats, which thus Cy gains respect for his were form instead of hating it. His other half is pretty much the only other "person" he has.

So that's all of is past. Having a cutie boyfriend will make it better. xD
