Heinkel He-162A-2 Volksjäger. A late WW2 last ditch fighter developed in Germany. The goal was to make a cheap, mass produced jet fighter that could be flown by Hitler Youth Glider pilots in an effort to stave off the never ending Allied bomber streams. Unfortunately it was hampered by construction issues, lack of skilled pilots, and a lack of fuel when it eventually did enter service. Arriving to late in the war, it only achieved two kills before the surrender. Always a favorite of mine due to it's novel design.
