Been sitting in my dropbox for a long time, finally got off my butt and finished this!

The Northrop F-5E Tiger II is likely one of my top favorite jet fighter aircraft. Light weight, cheap and easy to maintain, maneuverable in a dogfight, and a wonderful airplane to fly. The F-5 is one of those rather under rated aircraft. While it lacks many of the fancy avionics and BVR abilities other larger, more expensive fighters have, in a close in dogfight and flown by a competent pilot, it can more then hold its own. Its said that during the Red Flag exercises during the 70s and 80s, for student pilots encountering well flown aggressor F-5s in their F-16s, F-15s, F-14s, etc, it was very rare for the student to come out on top the first time.....and in real combat, it only takes that one time....

Anywho...splash one Mig....looks like another took a shot with a missle, break! break! break!
