Mum wanted a cartoonish owl...I went a bit overboard with the details.

Zbrush,two hours model time, one and a half hours photoshop final rendering. Feathers are just un-rendered fibermesh (Zbrush fibers) with a feather texture added over it. Took half an hour in photoshop to remove the ‘block-y’ edges of the mesh around the model to give it a proper “covered in soft feathers” look.
